Carl DeBarbrie
Carl DeBarbrie’s insurance career spans 40 years’ experience in Property-Casualty insurance underwriting and marketing operations, national insurance brokerage client relationship development, specialty insurance company sales and marketing and independent agency executive leadership. This varied experience allows Carl to provide clients with the stewardship necessary to protect their personal and business assets while keeping costs relevant to the clients’ expectations.
Carl is currently an Executive Vice President and owner of Remco Agency in Hempstead, New York; Principal Consultant at Asero Insurance Services in San Jose, California and Principal Consultant for various national property-casualty insurance enterprises. It is through the Consultancy Practices that Carl provides certain clients with the necessary insight to achieve their insurance risk transfer and risk management goals and objectives.
Theresa DeBarbrie
Theresa began her career in banking and finance. Her early career focus was helping small business meet their objectives through corporate lending practices. A career path change resulted in graduate studies in education with a twenty-year stint as Director of a Private School Early Childhood program. Her Director responsibilities included teaching, human resources management, and budget and operations administration. Theresa’s commitment to Education was highlighted with two terms on the Board of Trustees at the University of Scranton.
Theresa is responsible for finance, regulatory compliance, and administration at DeBarbrie Risk Management.
